Koha Boxes is how we show our tamariki and rangatahi that we’ve got their back these holidays.

We do this with your help by working alongside kura, kōhanga, early childhood centres, whānau services and other Ōtaki organisations who support our community every day.

You making a difference locally is a simple three-step process.

Tuatahi / One

Sign up and we'll match you with a tamaiti/rangatahi from one of our local kura or community services.

We’ll let you know their age, gender, and – where available – a little info about them to help you put together a koha box (gift) that will make their Christmas special.

Tuarua / Two

You put together a koha they will love – ideally small enough to fit in a shoebox – wrap it, attach the label, or clearly write the details on the box

(no loose tags please – they can fall off).

Under other information, you may see interests or things the tamaiti enjoys. Not all organisations can provide this, but we always do what we can!

Tuatoru / Three

You drop your koha box to the confirmed Ōtaki drop-off point (often the kura or service office). Their team will ensure it reaches the tamaiti it was lovingly prepared for.
