Kai distribution
Kaibosh Kapiti - Example
Kaibosh plays a vital role in our community by providing essential resources, primarily in the form of kai boxes delivered to amazing charities who then distribute that kai to the whanau who could do with some extra support.
We welcome any contribution of kai delivered that our community can make - we will take this and ... bla bla bla
- Food we love to receive
- Another food we love to receive
- Another one
- And another one
We wish we could accept THIS FOOD, but we can't sorry - because of THIS REASON.
If you can't get to us, and have enough kai to fit on the passenger seat of a car, let us know and we'll come and pick it up from you :)
We link the food industry with community groups that support people in need ensuring that quality surplus food reaches those who are struggling rather than being needlessly discarded.
This benefits both our community and our environment. Working in Kāpiti-Horowhenua, Wellington and the Hutt Valley with the help of a dedicated team of more than 200 volunteers, Kaibosh rescues and sorts food 7 days a week.
We deliver up to 25,000kg of quality surplus food each month to community groups that support people in need. This is the equivalent of 71,000 meals provided to those who need it most, as well as a 19,400kg reduction in carbon emissions.
We provide this service at no cost to food donors or community groups.
Hit the Drop off button and we’ll let the organiser know to expect you. If they need to reach out and confirm anything, they will. If you’re requesting a pick up, you’ll be able to do so on the page after that.
